Job Opportunity: HR Advisor
Are you an experienced HR Advisor, HR Officer, Employee Relations Advisor, or People Advisor with experience supporting transport, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, or another fast-moving operational environment?
RecruitME is recruiting for a confident and proactive HR Advisor to join the Agriculture division of a major UK food and farming business.
About the Role
The role is primarily focused on supporting the transport department, working closely with transport managers, operational leaders, drivers, and wider support teams.
You will be based near Sleaford, with occasional travel to other agricultural locations, approximately once a month.
You will join a small, friendly, and experienced HR team, supporting managers with employee relations, absence, performance, engagement, recruitment, and the wider employee lifecycle.
As HR Advisor, you will provide practical and legally compliant HR advice across a busy transport and agricultural operation.
You will work closely with the Senior HR Advisor and HR Business Partner while building strong day-to-day relationships with transport managers and operational teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
