Hays are delighted to be partnering with a Private Healthcare provider to hire a HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

£40,000-£45,000 + excellent benefits

  • Flexible working considered - 4 days per week
  • Free onsite parking

As HR Advisor, you will be the focal point for employee-related activity across the full employee lifecycle. You will provide first-line HR advice, coaching and guidance, supporting managers to deliver fair, consistent and compliant people practices while helping colleagues deliver Spire's purpose every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and colleagues in line with, procedures and best practice
  • Support managers with employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary, grievance and absence management, undertaking investigations where appropriate
  • Coordinate recruitment activity, onboarding, induction and job-specific training
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring data integrity on HR system (Florence)
  • Coordinate learning and development activities and training administration
  • Work closely with HR Shared Services, central HR and payroll teams to ensure employee changes are processed accurately and within deadlines
  • Build strong relationships with heads of department and hiring managers, acting as a trusted HR contact
  • Support ad-hoc HR and people projects as directed by the Hospital Director and People Business Partner

Who We're Looking For

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in a People Advisor or HR role
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A professional, confidential and solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels
