HR Advisor | Hull | £40,000+ | Full-time

Elevation Recruitment Group’s Specialist HR team are working with a well-established organisation in East Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a broad HR role, providing day-to-day advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people matters. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved across the full employee lifecycle and play an important role in supporting managers with employee relations and HR processes.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Supporting managers with employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance
  • Advising on day-to-day HR queries and escalating more complex matters where required
  • Supporting onboarding and employee exit processes
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Supporting employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives
  • Keeping HR systems and employee data up to date
  • Working closely with managers to provide practical and commercially focused HR support

You’ll ideally have:

  • Experience supporting employee relations cases
  • A good working knowledge of UK employment law
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The confidence to advise and support managers at all levels
  • CIPD Qualified or working towards
