📢 WE'RE HIRING – HR ADVISOR 📢 📍 HMP Peterborough 📅 12-month Fixed Term Contract 💷 £32,000 – £38,000 per annum, depending on experience 🕘 Monday – Friday | Site-based
Are you an experienced HR Advisor looking for your next opportunity?
We're looking for a proactive and confident HR Advisor to join the team at HMP Peterborough, providing practical HR support to managers and employees in a busy operational environment.
👥 What you'll be doing:
- Advising managers on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance and absence cases
- Managing and supporting absence cases
- Coordinating recruitment activity from vacancy approval through to induction
- Coaching and supporting managers with people-management skills
- Working closely with wider HR teams and key stakeholders
- Supporting HR reporting, people metrics and continuous improvement initiatives

🌟 What we're looking for:
- Proven HR experience with strong employee relations knowledge
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Confident coaching and advising managers
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification
- Professional, resilient and confident approach 🔐 Enhanced Level 2 security vetting and Enhanced DBS Adult & Child barring required.
