Artis HR Recruitment for HR Advisor

Artis HR are supporting a large, established organisation with the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor to join their onsite HR team in Grimsby.

This is a hands-on HR role, working closely with employees and managers across the site. You’ll provide day-to-day HR advice while taking ownership of employee relations casework and supporting wider HR activity.

The Role

As HR Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical HR advice and support across a busy operational environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and managers
  • Managing employee relations casework from start to finish
  • Handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions
  • Coaching and supporting managers on HR policies, procedures and best practice
  • Supporting recruitment activity, including coordination and administration
  • Providing support with payroll queries and processes
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and documentation
  • Working closely with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent HR service
  • Supporting wider HR projects and initiatives across the site

About You

We’re looking for someone with previous experience working as an HR Advisor or in a similar HR role, with strong employee relations experience.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong experience managing ER casework from start to finish
  • Experience handling disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appeals and suspensions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A practical, hands-on approach to HR
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG or other fast-paced operational environment would be highly advantageous
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred
