Based in Attleborough, Banham Poultry is one of the fastest growing businesses in Boporan (which also owns 2 Sisters Food Group) and is one of the largest employers in Norfolk. We are committed to providing the highest quality chicken and supply many of the UK’s leading retailers, restaurants, and wholesalers. Are you someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and supporting a busy operational environment?
At Banham, we’re looking for an HR Advisor to support our manufacturing and operational teams — someone organised, approachable, and ready to get stuck into the real, day-to-day challenges of HR in a fast-paced business.

What You’ll Be Doing
- This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be:
- Supporting line managers with day-to-day HR queries across production and office teams
- Helping manage employee relations cases, including absence, performance, and conduct
- Ensuring HR processes are followed consistently in a fast-moving environment
- Keeping HR systems, documentation, and records accurate and up to date
- Getting involved in engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention
- Working closely with managers to navigate challenges like shift patterns, attendance, and workforce planning
- Learning how HR supports operational performance in a manufacturing setting

- Are organised and able to prioritise in a busy, sometimes reactive environment
- Stay calm and professional when handling sensitive or challenging situations
- Are confident having conversations around performance, absence, and conduct
- Have a proactive, “can-do” mindset and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Are curious, eager to learn, and serious about developing a career in HR
- Understand (or are keen to learn) the realities of supporting a shift-based, operational workforce
