HR Advisor
Warrington
We are looking for an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join our established HR team. This is a varied regional role, ideally suited to someone based in Warrington who is comfortable travelling across the North of England and Midlands to support managers and colleagues across multiple locations.

Working as part of a supportive HR team of 10, you will provide practical, solutions-focused HR advice to the Regional Managers and operational teams. The role offers a high level of autonomy, so you will be trusted to manage your own workload, prioritise competing demands, and build strong working relationships across the region. You will also have opportunities to broaden your experience, develop your HR knowledge, and contribute to wider people initiatives across the business.

- Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers on a broad range of employee relations matters, including absence, performance, conduct, capability, and grievance issues.
- Support the Regional Manager with people matters across the region, offering clear, commercial, and legally compliant advice.
- Build effective relationships with site managers, coaching, and supporting them to manage people issues confidently and consistently.
- Manage your own caseload and workload, ensuring priorities are handled efficiently and professionally.
- Support investigations, disciplinary, and grievance processes, including preparation of documentation and attendance at meetings where required.
- Help ensure HR policies and procedures are applied fairly, consistently, and in line with current employment legislation.
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team, sharing knowledge, escalating complex matters where appropriate, and contributing to a consistent HR service.
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required, helping to improve employee engagement, manager capability, and operational performance.
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure timely follow-up on actions, correspondence, and case management activity.
Skills and experience required as a HR Advisor:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor, People Advisor, or similar generalist HR role.
- Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to advise managers through formal and informal processes.
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, organised, and practical approach, with the ability to manage your own diary and workload.
- Confidence travelling across the region as required.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Cezanne or similar HRIS.
