Are you an HR Generalist who's available immediately who'd be interested in working for an iconic cultural organisation and venue with a unique brand and strong social purpose?
We're recruiting a People Advisor to join a collaborative People team supporting a diverse workforce during an exciting period of organisational development and change.
Package
- Salary: Circa £40,000
- Contract: 9-Month Fixed Term
- Position: Full-Time
- Working Model: Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)
- Location: London-Based
The Role
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll provide practical, proactive and solutions-focused HR support across the organisation, helping managers navigate day-to-day people matters and ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees.
- Managing a range of employee relations casework including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
- Supporting managers to make fair, consistent and compliant people decisions.
- Assisting with policy reviews and the implementation of employment law changes.
- Supporting the ongoing development of HR systems, including HiBob.
- Contributing to HR process improvements and people-focused projects.
- Working closely with the HR Business Partner and wider People team to deliver an excellent employee experience.

About You
We're keen to hear from HR professionals who have experience in a generalist HR environment and are confident handling employee relations matters. Experience within the charity, not-for-profit, arts, education or wider purpose-led sector would be advantageous.
You'll Bring
- Experience in a HR Advisor, People Advisor or similar generalist HR role.
- Sound employee relations knowledge and confidence managing casework.
- A good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive and adaptable approach.
- The confidence to work independently whilst recognising when to escalate more complex issues.
- Sound judgement and the ability to balance organisational needs with a positive employee experience.
