Senior People Advisor | Interim Contract | London / Hybrid | 6 months

We’re working on a confidential interim opportunity with a well-established organisation operating within the healthcare and technology sector.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of complex employee relations cases from initial issue through to resolution, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, flexible working and workplace adjustment matters.
  • Advise and coach managers on performance, conduct, absence and people-related issues, helping them make confident decisions and manage situations effectively.
  • Support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes to employment, absence and offboarding.
  • Provide hands-on support throughout organisational change, including restructures, redundancy consultations, selection processes, TUPE and associated employee communications.
  • Support the implementation of performance, reward, talent and engagement programmes across the business.
  • Work alongside Talent Acquisition and hiring managers on recruitment activity, including job descriptions, requisitions and workforce planning.
  • Maintain accurate people data, organisational structures and vacancy information.
  • Analyse HR data covering areas such as headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment and employee relations, identifying trends and recurring issues.
  • Work closely with People Operations, Payroll, Reward, Talent, Organisational Development and external employment advisers where required.
  • Ensure HR processes are handled consistently and in line with UK employment legislation, company policy and ACAS guidance.
  • Contribute to improving HR processes, documentation and ways of working based on business and employee needs.
  • Handle highly sensitive employee information with discretion and professionalism.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong, hands-on experience managing complex UK employee relations cases independently.
  • Experience covering disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, reasonable adjustments and settlement processes.
  • Solid experience supporting restructures, redundancy consultations and TUPE.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, the Equality Act 2010 and ACAS guidance.
  • Experience working within a commercially focused, fast-moving or matrix organisation.
  • The confidence to advise and challenge managers and senior stakeholders where appropriate.
  • Excellent judgement and the ability to assess risk and provide practical recommendations.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload alongside competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when producing sensitive HR and consultation documentation.
  • Experience working with HR data and using insights to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively when situations are ambiguous or changing.
  • CIPD Level 7 or equivalent is desirable.
