HR Operations Analyst
London | 4 days in the office | 1 day WFH
Up to £45,000 + annual discretionary bonus + benefits
Middlemore is delighted to be retained by a long-established, privately owned and globally respected firm on the appointment of an HR Operations Analyst. The firm operates in a fast-paced, highly commercial market from an international network of offices, and is investing in its HR function to centralise, standardise and raise the quality of the service it delivers to its people headquartered form London.
This is a newly created and highly visible role. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will own and support the firm's HR operations end to end, with a global remit. You will work closely with senior leaders and handle sensitive information with complete discretion.
Key responsibilities
- Own the global joiner, mover and leaver process, from offer and onboarding through to internal moves and exits
- Keep HR system records accurate and up to date, own data integrity and produce reports on request
- Provide accurate payroll inputs and change notifications across several jurisdictions
- Administer benefits, ensuring every employee is on the right package for their location and grade, and support annual renewals with data gathering
- Draft and issue employment contracts, offer letters and contractual change letters, and help standardise templates across offices
- Manage reference requests and employment verification letters
- Lead and project manage the firm's trainee programme, including university events, communications, interviews and assessment days
- Manage the HR, trainee programme and careers inboxes, and support hiring managers with interview scheduling and offer administration
- Act as first point of contact for HR operational queries, maintain personnel files and trackers, and handle office administration such as access cards and staff benefits
- Support the Senior Director of HR on employee relations, performance and absence matters, and contribute to global HR projects

What we are looking for
- Two to five years' HR operations experience gained within an international organisation
- A background in a fast-paced, commercial and professional environment, such as a brokerage, recruitment firm, trading or investment business, professional services firm or consultancy
- Thorough knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and HR administration across more than one country
- Confident use of HR systems and Excel, with meticulous attention to data accuracy
- Hands-on experience of benefits administration and payroll inputs
- Experience drafting contracts and HR documentation, with a working knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR
- Experience coordinating a graduate, trainee or apprenticeship programme is a strong advantage
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (achieved or working towards) is welcome but not essential

Highly organised, service-minded and keen to improve how things are done, you will be a natural partner to the HR Director
