We are currently recruiting for a HR and Training Officer to support the Central Human Resources team, based at The May Fair Hotel.
Role Overview
This is a varied role combining HR and learning administration, employee communications, and training delivery. You will coordinate training activities, maintain learning systems, and create engaging communications that bring our people initiatives to life. Alongside this, you will regularly deliver Company Induction to our new Hosts, and periodically facilitate classroom-based training workshops using materials and content we provide.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting initiatives that promote learning, employee wellbeing, performance and engagement across the organisation.

Responsibilities
HR and Learning Administration
- Handle logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, booking rooms, system enrolments and arranging materials and catering.
- Monitor attendance and training data and manage reporting requirements.
- Manage training records and keep the learning management system up to date.
- Support Hosts with using internal apps and platforms.
- Be a first point of contact for training queries, managing enquiries with a swift response.
Employee Communications
- Create communications campaigns, including newsletters, announcements and Host updates.
- Promote learning programmes and engagement activities across the organisation through e-channels (Teams, MagicInfo, E-Mails, LMS)
- Work closely with the HR team to effectively communicate activities that build company culture and help retain staff.
- Re-design our SOPs into engaging training e-content on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Training
- Deliver group training workshops to our Hosts, such as Company Induction and guest service sessions.
- Be a visible, approachable point of support for new starters and existing Hosts.
- Support Hosts with onboarding, compliance and training.
About You
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience delivering training to a group in a classroom setting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage time effectively and think ahead.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and digital communication platforms, with the ability to adapt to new software.
- A proactive, self-motivated and creative approach to work.
- Ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- Previous experience in HR, employee engagement, internal communications, learning and development, or a similar role is ideal, but not essential.
