This role would suit an individual with previous HR administration experience who is looking to develop their career within a professional services environment.

As HR Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with the highest levels of confidentiality. Acting as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders, you will support a range of HR activities while building strong working relationships across the business. This is a varied role offering broad exposure to generalist HR, providing an excellent platform for someone looking to grow their career within a respected and forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange regular new joiner check-ins to support integration into the business.
  • Support probation review processes, ensuring documentation and timelines are managed effectively.
  • Prepare employment-related correspondence, including contractual changes and employee letters.
  • Assist with payroll administration activities and employee data updates.
  • Support annual performance review, salary review, and reward processes.
  • Respond to day-to-day HR enquiries and escalate more complex matters where appropriate.
  • Maintain employee records within the HR system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Produce reports and HR analytics to support decision-making and business requirements.
  • Work closely with HR systems specialists to support system updates and process improvements.
  • Ensure electronic personnel files are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Provide end-to-end administration for employee departures, ensuring processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Coordinate exit interviews and associated documentation.
  • Support the wider HR team with employee lifecycle activities and project work as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
