As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and skilled HR Assistant to join our team. This role focuses heavily on talent acquisition, recruitment, and efficient management of staff, ensuring that we build and maintain a talented and motivated workforce.

Role Overview

The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR department with all aspects of recruitment and staff management. The ideal candidate will be exceptionally organised, have a keen eye for talent, and excel at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position will suit someone who enjoys working with people, is results-oriented, and has a passion for building strong teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in HR and using LinkedIn Recruiter, with a strong focus on recruitment, talent acquisition, and managing staff.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and staff at all levels.
  • Proficient in using HR systems and recruitment platforms (e.g., Workable, LinkedIn, job boards).
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all HR-related documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Assist in developing job descriptions, posting job adverts, and sourcing candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, etc.).
  • Candidate Screening: Review applications, screen candidates, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate interview processes with relevant departments.
  • Onboarding: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing contracts, conducting inductions, and ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Staff Management Support: Assist in tracking staff performance, managing leave requests, and maintaining accurate employee records.
  • HR Administration: Maintain and organise employee files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
  • Job Offer & Contract Preparation: Prepare job offers, employment contracts, and other HR documentation for new hires.
  • Coordination of Training & Development: Help plan and coordinate staff training, ensuring employees have the tools and resources to succeed.
  • Employee Relations: Support the HR team in handling employee queries, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all HR processes comply with legal and company policies and assist with HR reporting as needed.
