Role: HR Assistant

Location: Central London

Tenure: Full-time | Office Based

Proper Recruitment are working with a well-established law firm who are looking for an HR Assistant to join the busy business support team in their friendly, centrally-located London office. This is largely an administrative role supporting an HR Officer and Head of HR, and while it's a 'starter' role, there's genuine potential for growth and development in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing holiday records and scheduling meetings
  • Sending emails to job applicants and setting up interviews
  • Assisting with HR and payroll documentation
  • Supporting induction planning for new joiners
  • Helping organise training and assist with appraisal processes
  • Assisting with the annual Practising Certificate renewal process
  • Supporting trainee solicitors, booking courses and liaising with the SRA
  • Providing daily Reception cover and occasional Post room cover

Requirements:

  • Prior HR support experience beneficial, but not essential
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Mature outlook, professionalism, discretion, flexibility and reliability
  • Comfortable managing a wide range of responsibilities

Salary:
ÂŁ28,000 per annum

Benefits:

  • Company pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays

This is a full-time, office-based role, Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm (including an hour of Reception cover each evening from 5-6pm), so candidates local to or within easy commuting distance of the office will have an advantage.
