Job Title: People Services Assistant
As a People Services Assistant, you will be instrumental in the success of the team, working closely with the People Partners to ensure a welcoming, highly efficient and engaging experience from the first point of contact. The People Services Assistant will have a flair for customer service and play an essential role in advancing a more diverse, accessible, and equitable environment through our inclusive practices.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes and supporting hiring managers
- Promoting the organisation as an employer of choice through engaging communications
- Managing pre-employment checks (Right to Work, references, DBS) and issuing contracts
- Supporting onboarding and off-boarding to ensure a positive employee experience
- Assisting with visa administration and compliance tracking
- Supporting monthly payroll processes and maintaining accurate employee records
- Producing HR data reports and analysing trends to inform decision-making
- Acting as system administrator for the HR system (user access, testing updates, data quality)
- Managing the People service desk and acting as first point of contact for HR queries
- Supporting learning & development, performance reviews, and staff surveys
