At Another Recruitment we are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join an established business in East Yorkshire. Reporting in to the HR Director you will lead and manage all HR business partnering activities for your business area whilst working closely with stakeholders and colleagues across the wider HR team to ensure HR service is delivered locally in line with the wider HR business strategy.
This is a people centric business where you will be required to deliver a proactive service that adds value and delivers effective business-focused HR solutions.
HR Business Partner; The Role
- Working with leadership teams and stakeholders to manage the site people plan to support and enable improvements in business performance
- Providing ongoing day to day generalist HR operational and HR project support
- Working with the wider HR Team and internal stakeholders to identify areas for policy and process development
- Maintaining accurate employee data and ensuring that all payroll changes are administered accurately
- Leading on succession planning, talent management, workforce capability development and recruitment initiatives, coaching and supporting hiring managers through the process
- Deliver learning and development initiatives across business areas
- Manage employee relations cases and provide day to day performance management support and guidance to line managers
- Ongoing evaluation of compliance and HR policies, ensuring they are up to date and in line with current legislation
- Using data to drive effective decisions, solutions, influence change and drive continuous improvement
- Supporting HR projects/business change locally and across the wider HR team - including succession planning, organisational development
- Coaching and development stakeholders and line managers

HR Business Partner; Skills and experience required

- Ideally CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Strong generalist HR background with a proven track record of delivering as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager, ideally within a Manufacturing or Engineering SME environment
- Good working knowledge of UK employment law
- Previous experience of managing HR projects including succession planning, employee engagement and driving HR efficiencies
- Has proven stakeholder management experience and building strong relationships with senior leaders
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to successfully manage change and deal with ambiguity
- Relationship building skills with the ability to communicate and liaise at all levels
