Location: Service Headquarters, Garstang Road, Fulwood, Preston, PR2 3LH

Salary: Grade 8, Spinal Column Points 33-37, £44,075-£48,226

Working Arrangements: 36.25 hours per week, with a flexitime scheme in operation

Closing Date: 11:59pm, 31 August 2026


Job Details

We are looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our inclusive, values-driven public sector organisation, which has a strong organisational culture.

You will work across a broad range of Human Resources activity, coaching and supporting managers to lead their people effectively and contribute to departmental goals and LFRS corporate objectives.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • The ability to produce high-quality policies and reports
  • Previous experience in Human Resources, including providing professional advice and guidance to line managers, is essential
  • Must be an Associate Member of the CIPD or hold an equivalent qualification
