A highly respected global professional services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with senior leaders across a key area of the business.

This is a broad, hands-on partnering role requiring someone who can combine strong commercial judgement with excellent UK employment law and employee relations expertise. You will work with established senior stakeholders, helping them navigate people issues, organisational change, performance and workforce decisions in a complex, highly professional environment.

The role will suit someone who is comfortable being visible in the business, building credibility quickly and constructively challenging leaders when required. It is not a purely strategic or project-led position. You will need to be equally comfortable advising on a difficult employee matter, coaching a senior manager, supporting organisational change or thinking more broadly about capability and workforce requirements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
