HR Business Partner
Bytes Software Services | Leatherhead | Hybrid (3 days in office)
We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across Bytes, helping them navigate people challenges, drive organisational change and create an environment where teams can perform at their best.
This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence business decisions, lead meaningful HR projects and play a key part in the next stage of our growth.
The Mission
As Bytes continues to grow, we're investing in the structure, capability and development of our people practices. We're looking for a commercially minded HR Business Partner who can build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, provide trusted guidance, and help deliver strategic HR initiatives that support both our employees and the wider business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on people partnering with project-based HR improvement work and wants to see the direct impact of their contribution.
What You'll Deliver
In your first 6 to 12 months, you'll:
- Partner with senior leaders across the business, providing expert guidance on people strategy and organisational challenges
- Deliver and support key HR projects that strengthen organisational effectiveness and employee experience
- Help shape frameworks around job architecture, career development and reward structures
- Improve manager capability through coaching, guidance and practical HR support
- Lead complex employee relations matters with consistency, fairness and commercial awareness
- Use employee feedback and engagement data to drive meaningful improvements across the business
- Contribute to the ongoing development and maturity of the HR function

What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Proven HR Business Partner experience within a fast-paced commercial environment
- Experience delivering strategic HR projects, such as job architecture, salary grading, organisational design or similar people initiatives
- Confidence partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders and executive leaders
- Strong employee relations knowledge and a sound understanding of UK employment law
- A practical, commercially minded approach with the ability to balance people and business needs
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
