People & Culture Business Partner | Manchester or London (hybrid)
Our client is a private equity-backed fintech software business with a global client base. It has grown through a series of acquisitions, and the next step is to bring those businesses together properly. That means one set of policies, one employee experience and one culture. They need a hands-on People & Culture Business Partner at the centre of that work.
What you’ll do
- Be the go-to HR partner for managers across the business: performance, conduct, absence, wellbeing and ER, with practical, commercially sensible advice
- Help harmonise policies, processes, and terms and conditions across previously separate businesses
- Get involved in org design and change: restructures, role changes, consultation and the decisions that come with them
- Coach managers through change so that people are treated fairly and consistently and stay engaged
- Support resourcing, from hiring and onboarding to workforce and succession planning
- Work with Reward on pay reviews and recognition
- Keep people data clean and use it to make better decisions
- Look for ways to make core HR faster and simpler

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
