Your new company
Our client, a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join their HR team on an 18-month fixed-term contract based in Peterborough.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with senior leaders across a complex and dynamic business, providing both strategic and operational HR support. The successful individual will play a key role in driving people initiatives, supporting organisational effectiveness, developing leadership capability and fostering a high-performance culture.
Working as a trusted advisor, you will use data-driven insights and HR expertise to influence business decisions, support change initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of people strategies aligned to organisational objectives.
Your new role
- Partner with business leaders to develop and deliver effective people strategies.
- Provide expert HR advice across workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent management.
- Support managers with employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Coach and develop leaders to enhance performance, engagement and team effectiveness.
- Lead and support organisational change initiatives.
- Utilise workforce data and HR metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Drive employee engagement activities and support a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Collaborate with specialist HR teams on recruitment, reward, learning and development, and diversity initiatives.
- Support annual HR processes including performance reviews, talent assessments and succession planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience operating as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong employee relations knowledge and employment law expertise.
- Experience influencing and coaching managers at different levels.
- A commercial and pragmatic approach to HR.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to analyse data and use insights to support decision-making.
- Experience supporting organisational change and business transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
