About the Role
We are partnering with a cutting-edge global technology business operating at the forefront of innovation, connectivity, and next-generation technology. With a highly international footprint and a genuinely exciting technology agenda, this is a business where the People function is evolving alongside the organisation.
We are looking for an experienced People Partner to join the team in a broad, operational role supporting leaders and employees across the business.
This is not a traditional HRBP role. You will be close to the day-to-day people agenda, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for the business, while also playing an important role in the organisation's transition towards a more self-service, digitally enabled People model.
The Role
You'll partner with leaders and managers across the organisation, providing practical, commercially focused advice across the full generalist people agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted generalist People Partner and escalation point, providing advice and support where managers or employees need additional guidance.
- Supporting leaders with employee relations, performance, organisational change, workforce planning, talent, and other day-to-day people matters.
- Helping managers take greater ownership of people activity through a self-service model, while providing support where issues require more experienced HR intervention.
- Supporting the implementation and adoption of new People processes, technology, and ways of working.
- Identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve the manager and employee experience.
- Working closely with Centres of Expertise and wider People teams, ensuring specialist support is brought in where appropriate.
- Using people data and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across your business areas.
- Supporting wider People transformation and organisational change initiatives.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring the People function is seen as a credible, commercially-minded partner to the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
