HRLife are working with a values-driven, people centric business to find their next People Partner.
You'll be supporting a specific area of the business and will play a key role in supporting and driving initiatives, ensuring employees are developed and engaged and the business remains an outstanding place to work. This is a broad generalist role that encompasses everything from talent management, engagement, succession planning, ER through to data analysis and working with managers to embed new creative ways of working.
You'll have a strategic mindset but still able to roll your sleeves up, be a problem solver and get stuck into the day to day. You'll have a collaborative style of working, be visible, a great relationship builder and enjoy coming up with new creative solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building strong credible relationships with senior leaders across the business
- Acting as a coach and sounding board to senior managers, suggesting ideas and embedding new ways of working
- Working with the Centres of Excellence to drive people strategies and support the delivery of projects on a variety of people related activities
- Provide leadership and management to the People Advisors with a focus on continuous development that supports collaboration and effective delivery
- Provide data analytics and meaningful insights to Directors to support their people decisions
- Ensuring new employees are on-boarded and inducted effectively and supported
- Managing engagement activities and embedding new initiatives to drive positive culture
- Focusing on continuous improvement, updating policies and ensuring it remains a great place to work
- Managing high risk or highly sensitive ER cases
- Supporting with benchmarking activities
- Managing headcount and resource planning processes
- Leading and driving projects to successful completion

The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience of working as an HR generalist or at People Partner level
- Experience of partnering with Centres of Excellence with a proven track record of delivering initiatives such as talent, succession planning, engagement etc
- Have a solid knowledge of good HR practice/employment law and experience of translating this into innovative and effective practical solutions in a large complex organization
- Be highly pragmatic, flexible and adaptable with the ability to tailor your approach to meet contrasting needs and demands
- Have the ability to draw insights from data and apply solutions to drive change
