Blair West are supporting a client, to find an HR Manager/Business Partner.
Our client is an international software business going through a period of significant growth. They are looking for an experienced HR professional to combine hands-on, multi-country HR operations with a strategic business partnering role, and to help shape the People function as the organisation scales.
The opportunity:
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads and the leadership team on organisational design, headcount planning, retention and culture.
- Run HR operations across several countries, including expatriate assignments, work permits and immigration as the business moves into new markets.
- Keep the business compliant with local employment law, tax and regulatory requirements in every country it operates in.
- Lead the people side of bringing new teams into the organisation as it grows.
- Lead recruitment across regions, managing agencies and building pipelines for technical and commercial hires.
- Design compensation and benefits structures, oversee payroll, and own HR cost and budget forecasting.
- Develop HR policy and support performance management, development and employee engagement.
- Report HR metrics to leadership and use the data to shape talent strategy.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:
- 7–10+ years in HR, with significant time spent on international operations, expatriate management or multi-country coordination.
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic role, in a high-growth SaaS environment is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and compliance across several international jurisdictions, including Europe.
- Hands-on experience of compensation, benefits and payroll administration.
- Confidence using HR data and HRIS platforms to inform decisions.
- Fluent English; additional European languages would be a strong advantage.
- Ideally, experience of integrating new teams and supporting a distributed workforce.
- A track record of recruiting at scale in a fast-growing business, ideally in technology.
