HRLife Partnership

HRLife are working with a values-driven, people-centric business to find them a creative and ideas-driven HRBP for a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) covering a period of maternity leave. You’ll need to be immediately available or available to start in October to be successful in this role. Hybrid working on offer - 2 days a week in the office which is located on the Surrey / Hampshire border.

About the Role

Supporting a specific area of the business, you’ll be integral to building great relationships, coaching and supporting the senior leaders to make commercial, people-based decisions that allow the business and employees to grow, perform and work in an environment they are proud of. No two days will be the same. This is a great chance to work with a customer-facing client group who strive to be brilliant in what they do, delivering great outcomes to their customers so they will want to come back time and time again.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the MD and SLT to deliver the People Plan in line with the broader business objectives and goals
  • Leading workforce planning, recruitment and talent attraction activities across the business
  • Driving the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and colleague experience, ensuring the culture and values are reflected throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Enhancing and promoting the employer brand - bringing creativity and fresh thinking to engagement and retention initiatives
  • Supporting Managers through organisational change, influencing stakeholders and supporting the implementation of group-wide initiatives
  • Championing learning and development, leading key programmes including Future Leaders, line manager development and performance check-ins
  • Fostering a culture of coaching, continuous feedback and professional growth for all employees and managers
  • Providing HR support internationally – ideally some exposure to Australia and North America too - ensuring compliance, engagement and an exceptional employee experience
  • Lead and develop the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) agenda, using data and insight to drive meaningful progress

You’ll have a background in generalist HR, used to partnering with all levels and styles of employee, able to flex your approach and be a natural communicator. Your background will be a mix of strategic and operational HR, someone who can implement strategic initiatives but also think operationally. Someone who likes being visible, can work at pace and is adaptable to change would suit this role well. You’ll need to be able to deliver training, be comfortable in larger groups but also enjoy working independently and working with your colleagues effectively to make things happen.
