Extraordinary technology needs extraordinary teams. Help build them. We’re partnering with an ambitious defence technology business shaping the future of AI and autonomous systems. With over $1.5bn raised in its latest funding round, the business is scaling rapidly, creating two exciting opportunities for People Partners to help shape its next chapter.
Supporting one of its more exciting divisions across the UK and Germany you’ll work across software, engineering and go-to-market, partnering with leaders tackling complex technical and commercial challenges.
This is a chance to make your mark in a hypergrowth environment, building the teams, leadership capability and organisational structure needed to deliver at scale.

What you’ll do
- Partner closely with software, engineering and GTM leaders, connecting people decisions to delivery and commercial outcomes.
- Shape organisational design and workforce planning as teams grow.
- Coach managers, strengthen leadership capability and raise performance standards.
- Guide teams through change, building trust, clarity and accountability.
- Build practical people frameworks that keep pace with the business.
- Bring sound UK employee relations judgement to complex situations.
What you’ll bring
- Experience working in defence, defence-adjacent technology, robotics or advanced manufacturing, ideally within a scale-up.
- Proven experience supporting software, engineering and GTM teams, with an understanding of their different priorities and challenges.
- Experience navigating hypergrowth, ambiguity and evolving organisational structures.
- The confidence to challenge senior leaders, backed by commercial judgement and evidence.
- A hands-on approach, low ego and a track record of turning people strategy into action.
- Exposure to the military or experience working with military stakeholders would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Fluent German is essential for one of the roles. The second role does not require German.
- Availability to work three days a week in London, with willingness to travel to Germany and other locations in the UK and France.
