HR Business Partner, Milton Keynes

Full time, Permanent

Hybrid (with travel across the Midlands)

£51,600-£56,600 + bonus

HR Recruit are partnering with an expanding industrial organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced HR professional for a newly created role to join the existing HR team. Reporting into the Head of HR and working closely with the Regional Managers, you will be accountable for 10 sites and have 1 direct report. This role offers the opportunity to join an organisation that puts its people first, enabling you to make a positive impact through employee engagement and value-driven HR initiatives.

The role will require you to attend Milton Keynes once a week, travel to Midlands and North West based sites max twice a week and work from home twice a week.

Role responsibilities

  • Providing day to day advice on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, employee development, and employee engagement
  • Providing regular training and updates to Board/Managers/Team Leaders on employment law, supporting disciplinaries, grievances, and performance related conversations
  • Planning and organising training interventions to bridge training gaps and develop the team
  • Partnering with line managers to identify opportunities that will support improvement in both organisational and people performance, and ultimately supporting the overall business objectives
  • Utilise reports and data analysis to support decision making
  • Oversee the recruitment process within the UK and supporting with selection and onboarding for more senior roles
  • Conducting Salary benchmarking to ensure our employees are fairly and competitively rewarded
  • Allowing time for project work and improving ways of working is essential to support wider HR initiatives
  • Be an inspiring people leader, managing the performance and development of the team of HR Coordinator
  • Working in a multi-site environment you will be required to travel, mileage expenses will be paid

Person Specification

  • A minimum of 5 year’s experience in a HR advisory role
  • Able to use own initiative and be a self starter
  • Experienced and able to deliver HR outcomes independently, with support from Croner for complex, high-risk cases
  • Able to analyse data to inform decision making
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, network and build strong partnerships
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
  • Ability to coach, engage and influence senior managers
  • Training delivery experience is essential
  • Ability to plan and manage projects with confidence
  • Experience of managing and motivating others

This role would be ideal for an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor looking for their next move or an established HR professional wanting to join an organisation that values its people.

The salary is £45,000-£50,000 plus £6,600 car allowance so (£51,600-£56,600) plus 10% discretionary bonus and excellent benefits. The is also an early finish at 2pm on a Friday.

The salary banding advertised is a guideline, the remuneration offered will be commensurate upon experience.
