Role Description

The Human Resources Business Partner is a part-time fixed term contract for 6 months with flexibility with work from home and on-site (Bristol & South East Wales) based on various parts of the project. This role supports leaders and team members across the pharmacy operations by supporting with a key initiative then progressing into support with HR policies, performance management, and employee relations.

  • Advising on workforce planning
  • Resolving employee concerns
  • Supporting recruitment and onboarding
  • Coaching managers on people-related issues
  • Collaborating with leadership on organizational development initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with labour and employment laws
  • Contributing to creating an inclusive, engaging workplace culture

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Policies, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience managing Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and support for team members and leaders.
  • Knowledge of labour and Employment Law and the ability to ensure HR practices are compliant and up to date.
  • Proficiency in Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and support for development plans.
  • Relevant experience as HR business partner, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is desirable.
