HR Business Partner, York
3-6 month FTC (possibility of going permanent)
1 day per week office-based
£65,000 - £75,000 per annum
We're partnering with a well-established financial services organisation to recruit an immediately available, experienced HR Business Partner for an initial 3–6 month fixed-term contract, with the potential for the role to become permanent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused HR professional who has a strong background within financial services and is comfortable partnering with senior leaders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

As a trusted HR Business Partner, you'll work closely with business leaders to deliver strategic and operational HR support, helping to drive business performance through effective people solutions.

Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver commercially focused HR advice.
- Supporting organisational change, restructures, and business transformation initiatives.
- Coaching and advising managers on employee relations, performance management, and people development.
- Leading and supporting a range of HR projects and initiatives.
- Using people data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Ensuring HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- Previous experience as an HR Business Partner within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is desirable.
This is initially a 3-6 month FTC with the potential to go permanent, offering £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.
