Senior HR Business Partner

12 Month FTC | £60,000–£65,000 | Hampshire | Hybrid

We’re partnering with a purpose-led, values-driven organisation to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner for a 12-month maternity cover.

This is a broad, highly visible role working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, combining strategic partnering with hands-on delivery across the full people agenda.

Operating as the senior HR lead within the business, you’ll have significant autonomy and will be supported by a wider shared-service HR function. It’s an excellent opportunity for an experienced generalist HRBP who enjoys working at pace, building strong relationships quickly and bringing fresh thinking to people challenges.

THE ROLE

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the MD and senior leadership team on the People Plan, HR strategy and workforce priorities
  • Coaching senior leaders and supporting effective people decision-making
  • Leading workforce planning, recruitment and talent initiatives
  • Driving employee experience, EVP, engagement and employer brand activity
  • Supporting organisational change and wider group people initiatives
  • Leading leadership development, manager capability and performance programmes
  • Championing a strong coaching and feedback culture
  • Supporting international teams across North America and Australia
  • Developing culture, inclusion and employee engagement initiatives
  • Using people data and insight to shape priorities and drive continuous improvement
  • Acting as a visible, trusted and approachable senior HR presence across the business
  • Leading internal people communications and contributing to company-wide updates

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
