Human Resources Business Partner - German Speaking

Equifind are partnering with a leading global financial services firm to find an experienced HR Business Partner to join their London-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, influence business decisions, and help shape a people strategy that supports growth, performance, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, partnering across multiple functions to deliver strategic and operational HR support. You'll play a key role in driving employee engagement, talent development, organisational effectiveness, and business performance in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including talent management, performance, development, and retention.
- Support organisational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
- Lead and manage employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and company policies.
- Drive performance management processes, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Coach and support managers to enhance leadership capability and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Recruitment, Learning & Development, and Reward teams to deliver a seamless employee experience.
- Drive employee engagement, wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
- Contribute to HR projects, continuous improvement activities, and broader business transformation programmes.

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner within the financial services sector or a similarly fast-paced, professional environment.
- Native German speaker with excellent written and verbal German communication skills.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
- Strong generalist HR knowledge across employee relations, performance management, talent development, reward, and organisational effectiveness.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at leadership level.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and coaching skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment practices and legislation.

Desirable
- A recognised HR qualification such as CIPD or equivalent.
- Knowledge of German employment law and experience supporting German-speaking employees or business units.
- Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within a global or international organisation.
