Job Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our supportive and well-established team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover.
Role Overview
The role will provide dedicated HR Business Partner support to our Children and Young People’s Services (CYPS) Division, working closely with senior leaders, managers and clinical colleagues across a diverse range of services. The post is based at our Trust Headquarters in Leatherhead, with some travel to other sites across Surrey.
You will provide professional and pragmatic HR advice, support and challenge across a broad range of workforce matters. You will work in partnership with managers and senior leaders on complex employee relations matters, organisational change, workforce planning and service transformation, supporting effective decision-making and the delivery of divisional and Trust workforce priorities.
You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills and the ability to work confidently with stakeholders at all levels. Experience of managing complex employee relations matters and supporting organisational change will be important for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to the development and implementation of the Trusts strategic aims and HR strategy as a proactive member of both the HR and local Divisional management team/s.
- Responsibility for provision of a specialist advisory service to colleagues on all aspects of Human Resource matters.
- Working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which include system partners and trade unions, all of which need exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills to support delivery of the Divisions priorities.
- Management of a HR Advisor to ensure the provision of a comprehensive and high-quality HR service to all staff within the Division.
- Promoting best practice in human resource management through the effective use of performance management systems including appraisal and personal development planning.
- Operating in a multi-unionised and multi-professional employee relations environment.
- Specialist knowledge in all HR areas.
- Delivery against HR related KPI's.
- Delivery of proactive Management Training and coaching to divisional colleagues.
