Office location with Hybrid working: Hammersmith London (Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office)
About the Role and the Team
As an HR Business Partner, you'll play a key role in supporting specific departments, partnering closely with leaders and managers to deliver a high-quality, commercially focused HR service. You'll provide trusted HR advice across the full employee lifecycle, using your professional judgement to help managers navigate people matters, build their people-management capability and create a positive employee experience. You'll work alongside our People Services Team, bringing a proactive, solutions-focused approach to more complex and business-critical people needs.

We're a fast-moving team, so you'll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities, adapting quickly and working at pace. We're looking for someone who can move confidently between strategic thinking and hands-on HR support, build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, and provide practical, commercially sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees across a range of people-related matters.
- Support organisational design, role development, and career pathways.
- Use HR systems and people data to support reporting, analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and basic employment legislation, escalating complex matters when required.
- Support managers with employee relations cases and ensure processes are handled fairly and consistently.
- Assist managers with performance management processes, reviews, and follow-up actions.
- Support employee development initiatives, career progression, and coaching opportunities.
- Support key HR processes, including onboarding, employee changes, and exits.
- Assist with annual pay reviews, bonus processes, and other reward-related activities.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and the implementation of related action plans.
- Provide support with interviews and recruitment-related activities as required.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and employee experience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
