JOB TITLE: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

SALARY: Competitive LOCATION: Reading (Full-Time Office Based)

Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with managers, influencing business decisions, and driving both employee and business performance?

We're recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to join a successful international technology business based in Reading. Reporting to the Country Manager, you'll work closely with leaders across the business, providing expert HR support while helping to drive business performance through effective people management.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll combine strategic HR partnering with operational support across the full employee lifecycle.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Partnering with managers to provide practical, commercially focused HR advice and support.
  • Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters.
  • Coaching managers on best practice and UK employment legislation.
  • Supporting performance reviews, succession planning and employee development.
  • Analysing HR data to identify trends and improve engagement and retention.
  • Promoting employee wellbeing and supporting a positive workplace culture.
  • Assisting with organisational change, restructures and HR projects.
  • Supporting the development of HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a HR Business Partner or in a similar HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A commercial approach with the confidence to influence managers at all levels.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (essential).
  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (desirable).
  • Experience within an international or fast-paced commercial environment would be advantageous.
