The Role

A leading global organisation within the satellite communications sector is seeking an HR Business Partner to support multi-site teams across Switzerland, Ireland, and Southern Europe, alongside the core UK function.

This role is central to the business’s ongoing operational evolution. As transactional HR transitions toward shared services and AI models, you will step in to provide strategic, high-value partnering, driving change management and complex ER across multiple European jurisdictions as the regional footprint expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders across Switzerland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, and the UK
  • Lead local change management and regional organisational development initiatives
  • Support the embedding of new HR delivery models, including shared services and AI integration
  • Manage cross-border employee relations, local compliance, and European Works Council requirements
  • Drive strategic people initiatives while drawing on centralised TA, L&D, and Total Rewards functions
  • Operate with high autonomy to solve complex matrix challenges across varied international markets

Essential Experience

  • 6–8+ years of HR experience at HR Business Partner level within a complex matrix structure
  • Strong background in multi-jurisdictional change management, complex ER, and Works Councils
  • Proven experience navigating transitions to centralised shared services or AI-driven HR models
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of supporting multi-site European teams
  • Highly conscientious, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with minimal handholding
  • Broad industry background welcome; experience navigating complex matrix environments is key
