HR Business Partner | £50,000–£65,000 | Cambridgeshire

Are you an HR professional who wants to do more than just manage the day-to-day?

I'm working with a growing food manufacturing business that's looking for an HR Business Partner to help shape the future of its people function.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys rolling their sleeves up, challenging the status quo and making a genuine difference to how a business operates.

The company is going through an exciting period of growth and investment, and they're looking for someone who can help take HR from a largely reactive function to a proactive, commercially focused partner to the business.

What will you be doing?

  • Partnering with the senior leadership team to influence people strategy and business decisions.
  • Developing workforce plans to support continued growth.
  • Coaching and supporting managers through employee relations challenges.
  • Leading and developing a small HR team.
  • Improving HR processes, systems and reporting.
  • Taking a proactive approach to absence management, recruitment and employee engagement.
  • Helping build a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
