About the Role
It’s exciting times at Churchill Estates Management as we enter a new phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we’re creating a HR team to specifically support CEM, and the new role of HR Coordinator will play an important role in ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all Colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle.
As our new HR Coordinator your duties will include:
HR Operations & Administration
- Coordinate the delivery of day-to-day HR operations, ensuring a professional and efficient service to managers and colleagues
- Process employee lifecycle changes including new hires, promotions, salary changes, contractual amendments and leavers
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and other HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Support payroll administration and maintain accurate employee records within PeopleHR
- Support management of the HR inbox, resolving queries where appropriate and escalating as required
- Coordinate key people processes including appraisals, pay reviews, bonus processes and annual compliance activities
- Provide day-to-day support to the HR Administrator and act as an escalation point for administrative queries
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation

Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the delivery of the end-to-end recruitment process with our Internal Recruiter, including advertising vacancies, candidate screening, interview coordination and pre-employment checks
- Liaise with hiring managers, candidates and recruitment agencies to ensure a positive recruitment experience
- Support onboarding and induction activities and gather feedback from new starter checks to enhance the colleague experience
Systems, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a super-user for PeopleHR, ensuring data integrity and supporting effective utilisation of the system
- Produce HR reporting and management information including headcount, absence, turnover, recruitment and employee relations metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and service delivery
- Support HR projects and undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of the role
Employee Relations Support
- Support the administration of employee relations cases, including preparing documentation, arranging meetings, taking notes and maintaining accurate records
- Monitor and track employee relations cases, absence management and probation reviews, ensuring actions are completed within agreed timescales
- Conduct routine fact-finding meetings and other basic employee relations activities
Employee Experience
- Coordinate the Company's peer recognition programme
- Conduct exit interviews and provide insights and trends to the HR team
- Support the delivery of a positive employee experience through responsive and professional HR support

About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in an HR administration or operations role
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes
- Experience supporting employee relations processes would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Experience using HR systems, ideally PeopleHR, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience producing reports and working with HR data
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- A proactive approach, a continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to take ownership of processes
- An HR qualification, or willingness to work towards one, would be advantageous
