HR Coordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Coordinator to join a globally recognised Museum based in the heart of London. This is a varied generalist role, providing high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle while working closely with managers and colleagues to deliver an effective and responsive People service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies, procedures and employment matters.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring a positive candidate experience from offer through to induction.
- Prepare contracts, offer letters and employment-related documentation.
- Process employee lifecycle changes, maintaining accurate HR records and systems.
- Support payroll administration, ensuring contractual and employee changes are communicated accurately and on time.
- Assist with employee relations casework, including probation reviews, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Coordinate family leave processes, including maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
- Manage occupational health referrals and support workplace adjustments where required.
- Produce HR reports and monitor key dates including contract end dates, DBS renewals and right-to-work documentation.
- Contribute to HR projects, process improvements and wider People initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable
- Previous experience in a HR Coordinator, HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Experience supporting a wide range of HR activities across the employee lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Experience providing advice and guidance to managers and employees
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate HR records and systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems

- Salary: £34,800 per annum + benefits
