Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford are located in the vibrant Stratford area of East London within Westfield Stratford City, one of Europe's largest urban shopping and entertainment destinations.
Together, the hotels offer 350 contemporary guestrooms and suites along with 14 versatile meeting and event spaces. The property welcomes a diverse mix of business and leisure travellers and is within walking distance of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the London Stadium.
Dining experiences include Elondi Restaurant & Bar, offering modern British dishes inspired by the vibrant spirit of East London and crafted using locally sourced ingredients. Duties and Responsibilities Related to the Human Resources Coordinator Role
The HR team consists of the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Coordinator. Working closely with the Human Resources Director, you will play a key role in delivering the HR function across Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the HR function across Hyatt Regency London Stratford and Hyatt House London Stratford.
- Promote colleague engagement, wellbeing, learning and development initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
- Provide first-line HR advice and support to colleagues and managers on a range of people-related matters.
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising, interviewing, hiring and onboarding.
- Assist with monthly payroll administration, ensuring colleague records and data are maintained accurately.
- Coordinate onboarding, inductions and colleague lifecycle administration, ensuring a seamless employee journey.
- Deliver and support training programmes, including Welcome to Hyatt sessions and compliance training.
- Monitor learning and development compliance, maintaining accurate training records and reporting where required.
- Organise and support colleague events, recognition programmes and engagement initiatives throughout the year.
- Maintain and utilise HR systems, including PeopleSoft, Taleo, Fourth Hospitality and Hyatt Learning.
- Build positive relationships across the business and help foster a workplace culture aligned with Hyatt's values.

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday during office hours, although flexibility may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends, particularly when attending colleague engagement and social events.
About You
You will have previous experience in a Human Resources Coordinator or similar HR role, ideally within hospitality, along with a good understanding of UK employment legislation.
A confident communicator, you will enjoy supporting colleagues and managers, delivering training, and working across a range of HR activities including recruitment, employee relations and payroll administration.
