HR Coordinator
Location: City of London, hybrid working
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Coordinator to support our people function across HR administration, recruitment, staff engagement, and internal events.
This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in accurate administration, and is confident using Excel to manage data, reports, and trackers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR coordination and administrative support.
- Support recruitment activity, including arranging interviews, communicating with candidates, preparing offer paperwork, and onboarding new starters.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, trackers, and confidential documentation.
- Produce and update HR reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards using Excel.
- Assist with payroll-related information, absence records, holiday tracking, and other people data.
- Coordinate staff engagement activity, including surveys, communications, and follow-up actions.
- Support the planning and delivery of staff events, wellbeing initiatives, and team activities.
- Respond to general HR queries and direct more complex matters to the relevant HR lead.
- Help ensure HR policies, procedures, and processes are followed consistently.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.

About You
- Previous experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, People Coordinator, or similar role.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Strong Excel skills, including maintaining spreadsheets, analysing data, and producing clear reports.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confident communicator with a professional and approachable manner.
- Comfortable handling confidential information sensitively.
- Experience coordinating staff events or engagement initiatives would be advantageous.
- A CIPD qualification, or willingness to work towards one, would be beneficial.
