HR Coordinator
Location: Warwick
Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Department: Human Resources
Reporting to: HR Consultant
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and respected professional membership organisation for an HR Coordinator to join their Human Resources team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR administrator or HR professional looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The HR Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the HR function, supporting day-to-day HR operations, maintaining accurate employee records and providing first-line HR support to employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal policies.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, candidate packs, offer letters and contracts of employment.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including new starter administration and inductions.
- Manage offboarding processes and assist with conducting exit interviews.
- Process training requests, issue training agreements and maintain accurate learning and development records.
- Provide monthly payroll information and maintain accurate absence records for submission to Finance.
- Act as a first point of contact for general HR queries, escalating more complex matters where appropriate.
- Support HR audits, reporting and the production of HR metrics and reports.
- Maintain and update internal intranet content, including new starter announcements and company news.
- Assist with reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures in line with legislative requirements.
- Support the wider team with Subject Access Requests (SARs) as required.
- Assist with HR projects, initiatives and process improvements.
- Provide general HR administration and support as required.

About You
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an HR support or HR administration role and a good understanding of HR processes and employment law fundamentals.
You will be highly organised, approachable and proactive, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within an HR support or HR administration role.
- Good knowledge of HR processes, employment law basics and HR best practice.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- Calm, approachable and supportive manner.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also working independently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or currently studying towards CIPD Level 3.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above, Functional Skills Level 2, or equivalent.
