Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel. 

Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will manage core HR administrative functions with discretion, accuracy, and professionalism. You will work extensively with HR systems while supporting employee relations and contributing to a positive, compliant, and engaged workplace culture. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage all HR administration, including employment contracts, correspondence, and confidential personnel files
  • Ensure accurate, timely entry and maintenance of data within the hotel’s HR systems
  • Support employee relations matters with the highest levels of confidentiality, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes
  • Ensure full adherence to recruitment and selection procedures, including the completion of all required right-to-work and immigration checks
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and people-focused initiatives
  • Support departmental training activities, including inductions, work experience placements, careers fairs, and preparation of training materials
  • Manage pay reviews, absence monitoring, and wage-related queries in line with company guidelines and legislative requirements
  • Ensure mandatory training compliance relating to security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
  • Respond professionally and efficiently to team member and management queries

A Human Resource Coordinator representing Hilton brands works collaboratively and with integrity to support both Guests and Team Members. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Previous experience within a Human Resources function
  • A positive, professional, and approachable attitude
  • Strong communication skills with a natural ability to engage and support others
  • A genuine commitment to delivering a high standard of service, both internally and externally
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation standards reflective of a luxury environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability across a variety of operational and business needs
  • The ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry or experience within a hotel environment
  • Working towards, or holding, a recognised Human Resources qualification (e.g. CIPD)

This opportunity is offered on a fixed-term basis for a period of nine months, providing a unique chance to contribute to an exceptional hospitality environment
