About Position
Persistent is seeking a highly organized and proactive Onboarding Coordinator to support the end-to-end onboarding experience for new joiners across the UK and Europe. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for incoming employees, hiring managers, HR, and business stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and compliant onboarding process. The role will include coordinating pre-joining and Day 1 activities, conducting Right to Work checks for UK hires, supporting documentation and compliance activities, managing stakeholder communications, and facilitating onboarding activities across multiple European locations.

What You'll Do
Onboarding Coordination
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires across the UK and Europe.
- Coordinate pre-boarding activities including communication with candidates prior to joining.
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Schedule and coordinate induction sessions, welcome meetings, and onboarding activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new joiners during the onboarding journey.
- Maintain onboarding trackers and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with HR, hiring managers, IT, Facilities, and other support functions to ensure Day 1 readiness.
Right to Work & Compliance
- Conduct UK Right to Work checks in compliance with UK employment legislation.
- Verify and maintain employment eligibility documentation for new hires.
- Ensure onboarding records are maintained securely and in accordance with GDPR and company policies.
- Escalate any compliance concerns or missing documentation promptly.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Hiring Managers, and Business Leaders.
- Support onboarding activities across multiple European countries.
- Coordinate with local teams to ensure country-specific onboarding requirements are completed.
Employee Experience
- Deliver a positive and professional onboarding experience for all new joiners.
- Support welcome sessions, office inductions, and employee orientation activities.
- Gather feedback from new employees and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Administrative Support
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, databases, and reports.
- Track candidate onboarding progress and completion of mandatory tasks.
- Assist with onboarding audits and compliance reviews as required.

Expertise You'll Bring
- 2 to 5 years of experience in HR Operations, Onboarding, or HR Administration.
- Experience conducting UK Right to Work checks is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with onboarding processes, HR documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding activities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems.
- Flexibility may be required during peak onboarding periods.
- Bachelor’s degree/Master’s in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience supporting onboarding across multiple European countries.
- Knowledge of UK employment legislation and onboarding compliance requirements.
- Experience working in a fast-paced multinational organization.
