The Role
The HR Coordinator will act as a key first point of contact for the UK HR function, providing guidance and support on HR policies, processes and employee queries.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle, with responsibility for transactional HR administration, employee data, HR systems and wider HR team support.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries via the HR helpdesk, telephone and shared inbox.
- Provide professional guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and processes.
- Manage HR queries through the HR ticketing system and ensure timely resolution.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer contractual offers, employee changes and other employee lifecycle documentation.
- Coordinate and support new starter inductions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS.
- Provide administration support for employee reward and benefits programmes.
- Coordinate activities with third-party benefits providers.
- Support long-service recognition and reward activities.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc HR reports.
- Develop and maintain HR procedures, policies and work instructions.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide wider administrative support to the HR team, including meeting notes and documentation for employee relations processes.
- Support activities relating to consultations, restructures and other employee relations matters where required.

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within a busy HR environment.
- Experience using Workday or a similar HR information system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- A process-improvement mindset and a commitment to getting things right first time.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working under pressure.
- A strong sense of personal accountability and ownership.
- A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to work collaboratively with employees, managers and the wider HR team.
- A strong customer-service mindset.
