Reporting to: Head of HR Operations
Contract: Maternity Cover
We’re working with a high-end, privately owned luxury lifestyle business to recruit an HR Coordinator on a maternity cover contract. Operating across a number of premium, service-led businesses, the organisation has an impressive presence in London and works with a sophisticated international client base. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and fast-paced environment, supporting the Head of HR Operations and wider HR team with the day to day running of the HR function.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on HR position covering the full employee lifecycle. You will support everything from recruitment and onboarding through to payroll, benefits, HR systems and employee relations administration. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, dependable and comfortable working with detail. You don't necessarily need years of HR experience. A strong administrator with some HR exposure and the right attitude could work equally well. Experience within hospitality, retail, luxury or another fast-paced, service led-environment would be particularly relevant.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
