π° Salary: Β£28,000 per annum, pro rata
Support people. Shape culture. Make a difference.
Our People & Culture Manager is off on maternity leave and we need someone brilliant to hold the fort!
3 Sided Cube builds apps for organisations doing genuinely good work. Blood donation. Disaster response. Wildlife protection. The kind of stuff that makes you feel like youβre making a difference. And none of it happens without a team that's looked after, and that's where the People team comes in.
You'll be the person keeping that running day to day, working closely with our Head of People. She handles the strategy and the tricky judgement calls, you keep everything else moving!
What You'll Be Doing
- Coordinating recruitment. Posting adverts, screening CVs, booking interviews, sending offers. Team Leads make the hiring calls, you make sure the process runs and nobody's left wondering where they stand.
- Onboarding. Getting new starters set up, settled in and checked in on through their first few months.
- People operations. Records, contracts, HR letters, payroll updates, HiBob workflows. The unglamorous but essential backbone.
- Compliance. Risk assessments, policy updates, data compliance. There's more of this than you might expect and it matters more than you think.
- Looking after the team day to day. Answering queries from employees and managers, booking travel and accommodation, and making sure our remote folks feel just as connected as the people in the office.
- Culture. Birthday cards, work anniversaries, Summer and Winter parties, team events, snacks. All the little things that make a big difference.
- Making things better. If a process is taking up your whole week, you have permission to automate it. We're an AI native company, so you'll have the tools and the encouragement.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are
- A couple of years in a people focused role: HR support, recruitment coordination, employee engagement, something in that world. You don't need to have done all of the above but you do need to be the kind of person who notices what's slipping before anyone else does.
- Organised in a way that borders on smug about it. Warm with people, discreet with information and able to hold six things at once without dropping the one that matters.
- HiBob or Recruitee experience would be the cherry on top.
- If you're coming back to work after a break, or you're after something that fits around childcare and the school run, this role is built to work that way.
