Four days helping a purpose-led organisation work effectively and grow. One protected study day each week. A starting salary of £28,000—and a BSc (Hons) degree with no university tuition fees to pay.

Development Trusts NI is recruiting a HR Management Apprentice to join our small Belfast-based team while studying for Ulster University’s BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management Degree Apprenticeship.

This is an opportunity to learn the HR profession through meaningful, hands-on work. You will support people administration, membership development, our CRM, projects, events, organisational planning and the everyday systems that help DTNI deliver for communities across Northern Ireland.

You will work closely with our Head of Operations and Development, receive a structured induction, mentoring and protected study time. As your knowledge and confidence develop, you will take on greater responsibility and contribute ideas for improving how the organisation works.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
