HR DIRECTOR | HIGH-GROWTH CONSUMER BUSINESS | LONDON
Up to £100,000 + package + equity
I’m working with a high-growth, founder-led consumer business at an exciting stage of its development.
With ambitious plans for the next few years, they are now looking to appoint a senior People leader who can build the function and help create the organisation needed to support that growth.
This is not a traditional HR Director role.
You’ll be joining a relatively lean, entrepreneurial business where there is genuine scope to build, shape and influence.
The opportunity
- Build and own the People function end-to-end
- Partner closely with the Founder and senior leadership team
- Shape organisational design as the business grows
- Lead hiring across leadership, central and operational teams
- Introduce pragmatic performance, reward and development frameworks
- Help define culture, standards and ways of working
- Build the infrastructure needed to support significant headcount growth
- Remain hands-on and comfortable moving between strategic and operational priorities
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
