Role Description

This is a fully remote, unpaid internship for an HR & Legal Intern. We are looking for a high-energy candidate who bridges the gap between Human Resources and employment/corporate law. In this role, you will be deeply involved in daily HR operations, legal compliance, contract management, recruitment, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR and legal operations, ensuring seamless administrative execution.
  • Draft, review, and organize employment contracts, policy documents, and compliance records.
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment, candidate screening, and remote onboarding processes.
  • Help maintain, update, and audit internal HR databases and legal documentation.
  • Collaborate directly with management to drive employee engagement and build a strong, compliant remote workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Law (LLB/LLM), Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Execution Mindset: Highly action-oriented, proactive, and resilient, with a proven ability to deliver results independently in a remote setup.
  • Legal & HR Acumen: Understanding of fundamental employment law concepts, policy drafting, and HR best practices.
  • Communication & Professionalism: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information discretionarily.
  • Detail & Organization: Meticulous attention to detail with strong administrative and record-keeping capabilities.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and modern remote collaboration tools. Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, or legal management tools is a plus.
