Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised HR Generalist to join their team on a part-time basis, working up to 28 hours per week, to provide maternity cover. Salary £40,000 pro rata.

This is a hands-on, operational HR role offering the opportunity to support employees and line managers across the full employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining effective day-to-day HR operations throughout the maternity cover period, ensuring managers and employees receive a consistent, responsive and practical HR service. As HR Generalist, you will work closely with employees, line managers and senior stakeholders, providing timely and accurate HR support in line with company policies and procedures. You will take responsibility for a broad range of generalist HR activities, helping to ensure that all day-to-day HR processes continue to run smoothly and efficiently. This role will involve working across two locations, so flexibility and the ability to travel between sites will be required. Hybrid working is also available, offering flexibility to balance time between the office and home, in line with business requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
